The National Institute of Pakistan (NIP) has officially commenced its plantation initiative, symbolizing the arrival of spring and emphasizing the importance of climate preservation. This commendable effort saw enthusiastic participation from both faculty members and senior students across various programs, including BS 8, MPhil, and PhD. The plants that were planted during this event were graciously donated by A. R. Brothers.
This initiative not only serves to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the campus but also aims to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and the critical role that greenery plays in combating climate change. By involving students and faculty in such activities, NIP fosters a sense of community and responsibility towards the environment.

A monsoon plantation drive was organized by the National Institute of Psychology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad on 13th August, 2024. For the activity, plant saplings of a variety of fruits were provided by A.R. Brothers, Islamabad who were also present on NIP premises as special guests for the event. The activity began with an insightful awareness session by the A.R. Brothers that emphasized the importance of planting trees and caring for them for environmental conservation and sustainability. The organization’s CEO, Mr. Abdur Rehman and Program Manager, Ms. Asma Toorkham encouraged the audience to make efforts towards fostering and providing a greener future for generations to come. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Hanif, NIP Director thanked the guests for their generous gift of plant saplings and for visiting NIP. She and Prof. Dr. Jamil A. Malik presented Mr. Abdur Rehman and Ms. Asma Toorkham with letters of appreciation and shields as tokens of gratitude. Later the guests, NIP faculty, staff and students planted saplings on NIP premises and vowed to take care of the saplings planted by them.
