NIP Students Roles and Responsibilities

All students of NIP are expected to know and comply with the Code of Student Conduct specified by Quaid-i-Azam university and other university policies, and applicable laws. They are expected to uphold and maintain academic and professional honesty and integrity and to adhere to the academic requirements determined by National Institute of Psychology and its individual instructors. Most importantly all students are expected to uphold the values of honesty and academic integrity.

Following are some of the responsibilities that have to be salient in student’s behavior and attitude while they are affiliated with this institution:

1. Understanding NIPs’ rules.

2. Take care of NIP property. They are expected to maintain cleanliness within their classrooms and other places within the premises of the Institute.

3. Turning off all cellphones and other electronic instruments during classes, seminars and other official activities.

4. Show good character, integrity, honesty and positive behavior.

5. Students should show up in decent, presentable and culturally appropriate attire.

6. Take full responsibility for personal behavior.

7. Respect diversity in people, ideas, and opinions.

8. Observe etiquette in all communications, giving respect to teachers, fellow students, and administrative staff.

9. Refrain from being involved in immoral, antisocial and illegal activities (theft, bribery, etc.).

10. Refrain from getting involved in any political activity on campus.

11. Refrain from initiating and getting involved in any aggressive activity and/or fights on campus.

12. Showing positive engagement and take active interest in and participate in events and special events organized by the Institute (e.g. Sports, students plantation, spring gala, annual dinner etc.).
