NIp Alumni Ms. Dania Javaid Shines at Global Youth Summit 2021
Ms. Dania Javaid, alumini of National Institute of Psychology Quaid- i- Azam University, currently working as an Elementary School Teacher in the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education, AJK has made a remarkable achievement by participating and selected as “the best delegate” in the Global Online Youth Summit (GOYES) 2021. Her proposal to inculcate mental health education in the education system in response to the call for sustainable solutions to the problems faced by the education system globally, was applauded by the delegates.
The Summit focused on the “Sustainable Development Goad (SDG) 4- Quality Education adopted by United Nations for peaceful and prosperous future. The event provided an opportunity to interact with prominent educationalists, academics, and educationists.
One week before the summit, 200 delegates from more than sixty countries, out of 1033 participants were selected to prepare a proposal for the viable solutions to the problems pertaining to quality education. The highly committed teams of the delegates proposed wide range of ideas to improve education including, introducing mental helath in the education system, capacity building training to teachers and parents on early childhood education; IT-based instructional teaching designs; Designing and using certain Apps in the process of teaching and learning; reaching out the children living in the slum areas and belonging to the underprivileged communities, etc.
All delegates, including Ms. Dania Javaid’s performance was profoundly remarkable. National Institute of Psychology is really proud of her out standing performance and achievement.
